The begining

It was December and my winter break was coming up, three weeks without work, classes. Nothing important needed to be done by me for three whole weeks. Some weeks earlier, I had started playing Left for Dead 2 on our XBOX and enjoyed playing it quite a bit. In this game, every player has their place, if your not good, you can stay back and heal the others, or if your not good at killing zombies, or the infected, you can be one.

My husband signed me up for XBOX live. I started playing my 30 day free trial and feel in love with it. Left for Dead was so fun and I met some cool people. I did have a run in with "soniclehedgehog", who turned around and killed me for fun, but other than that, it was fun. This abstract world of online gaming, what my husband plays on the weekends and what causes him to swear quite profusely, was becoming fun for me. I moved on to Forsa and began racing others online, which I found to be very fun, when I won.

Then it happened, he bought this game called Modern Warfare 2 and, me being the open minded wife, decided to play it. I have to admit, at first, it frightened me, the chaos, shooting, explosions, it was like the war in Afghanistan was in my living room, not a comforting thought. I told my husband I didn't want to play it anymore and that was that.
